CPS-Datensysteme GmbH receives various legal requests that demand information or measures from us. When government agencies and private organisations request customer data, we require that they comply with applicable laws and regulations. Our legal department reviews each request and ensures that it is based on a legally authorised procedure. If this requirement is met, we limit our response to a minimum amount of information. If a request is not based on a legally authorised procedure or if we consider it to be ambiguous, inappropriate or too broad, we will contest the request or reject it in its entirety.
Your data request must contain the following information:
- Your authority (name, department, address and contact details)
- File number of your authority
- Information on the purpose of the request and further use of the data
- Information on the specific offence
- Specific legal basis
We do not provide information in response to telephone, chat or e-mail enquiries. Your enquiry must reach us in writing – urgent enquiries are welcome by fax or as a PDF scan by email. Please only use en.complaint@cps-datensysteme.de as your email address.
